Students Must Authorize Parents as Payers
Because college students' financial records are protected by the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Acts (FERPA), parents do not have automatic access to students' financial accounts.
To access and/or manage a student's financial accounts, a parent must be designated by a student as an authorized payer in the QuikPay system. Learn how.
NewsFirst refunds of the Spring term are scheduled for January 21, 2010You must enroll in the direct deposit program by close of business January 11, 2010 to be included in the first batch of refunds. Direct Deposit through DORIIf you have enrolled in the Direct Deposit program, your funds will be deposited into the account you have designated when your student account is showing a credit balance. To sign up, go to DORI > Self Service Banner > Student Information > Student Accounts > Access Quickpay > Direct Deposit. Paper ChecksStudents not enrolled in Direct Deposit at the time the credit appears on the account will be issued a paper check. Paper checks are issued weekly and mailed each Friday to the permanent address on file with the registrar's office. |
