Here are some answers to common concerns about financial obligations, scholarships and student employment.


Financial Matters

Duquesne does not mail paper bills. Students receive email notification when an eBill has been posted. If you need this information, ask your student to make you an authorized payer to view the eBill online.

Any outstanding balance on a student account can result in a "hold" and delay class registration and room registration for campus housing.

Student Employment

Student employees work in a variety of jobs both on and off campus.  While they work for Duquesne University, our student aides gain more than extra income – they gain valuable work experience that supplements the outstanding education they receive in the classroom.

Work study and other campus jobs are available through Human Resources. 


Scholarships

Based on their application for admission to Duquesne, academically competitive students will be considered for Merit Scholarships (based on GPA and standardized test scores). Freshmen should submit their applications by January 1 and transfer students by July 1. Contact Admissions for details.
