About the Center

Founded in 1969 by the late Dr. George D. Harris, the Learning Skills Center shares undergraduate tutoring responsibilities with  the University's sciences, math, and English departments.

The Learning Skills Center was renamed the Michael P. Weber Learning Skills Center in April 2001 to honor the late Michael Weber, former academic vice president and provost.
