In today's organizations, success depends on maximizing the contributions of each individual. A solid relationship exists between a company's performance and its workplace learning and development practices.

Duquesne University's Center for Leadership Development, part of the School of Leadership and Professional Advancement, provides customized consulting and professional development through innovative and accessible delivery systems, with a fundamental commitment to client success.  Through a careful needs assessment and program design, we partner with clients to create solutions that address the rapidly changing work environment and the need for effective leadership at all levels.  Our mission is to provide workplace learning with consideration to individuals' time constraints, need for accessibility, and learning style.

We collaborate with and serve a number of corporate, nonprofit and public service clients through our various academic and professional development programs.  The School of Leadership and Professional Advancement has more than 25 years of experience in working to strengthening the capacities of both the individual and organization.  Our greatest strength is in understanding the needs of the adult learner and being able to respond to those needs by offering high quality, relevant and interactive learning in flexible and easily accessible formats.
