Freshman Advisement Summer Transition (FAST)
July 14 to 17, 2009
Ease your transition to life as a new student at Duquesne University by spending a day on campus at the FAST program.
All new students, particularly those in the local Pittsburgh area, are invited. This program is not mandatory. Please attend one of the two days offered for your prospective school.

At FAST, you can spend a day on campus to:
- Learn from our Support Services professionals: Ask questions about... health services, financial aid, tuition deferment, safety and security and student activities.

Take placement exams, specifically for:
- Education majors working on math certification
- Liberal Arts students and Education majors for language placement exams

Attend presentations about
- Computer and technology services
- Student housing and resident life
- Services and social activities for commuter students
- Freshman orientation
- Have your ID picture taken
- Open your personal checking account through the campus branch of PNC bank.
- Attend the Technology Expo sponsored by the Computer Store (technology consultants will be on hand to help).
- Review textbooks at the University bookstore
